Teacher Biography:
Bob retired from a 40-year professional career in Environmental Health and Safety in 2018 and moved to Plymouth. Bob’s teaching experience comes form being an adjunct faculty member at Vanderbilt University and conducting hundred’s of training sessions during his professional career.
He started Wheaton Images LLC in 2018 to provide commercial photography services and produce fine art for sale at art shows locally. Bob started making images when the first Nikon professional cameras were introduced in 2007. He has also been using Adobe Photoshop for over 25 years (since version 3) and Adobe Lightroom since release in 2007. Bob Initially began using Photoshop to create graphics for health and safety training software development and has used each successive version for creating digital art. Bob has won numerous awards for his photography including:
• Cape Cod Art Center Gallery - 2nd Place for “Total Eclipse” - February, 2019
• U.S. National Park Service, Big South Fork, KY - 1st Place Artistic Category for “Pathway” - 2017
• Great Smoky Mountain Summit, Townsend, TN - Multiple Awards for Images of the Smokies 2015-2016.
Bob is a member on the photo committee and a photography instructor at the Plymouth Center for the Arts. He has also been accepted as a juried artist member at Cape Cod Art Center.
