On exhibit until May 14th, don't miss the chance to see this wonderful show in our beautiful galleries.
The Photography Committee at Plymouth Center for the Arts is pleased to announce our judge’s selection for The Fine Art of Photography. This is another record breaking year for the exhibition, with nearly 1500 images being submitted by over 300 photographers, from 30 states and 7 foreign countries (see below for more). After the jurying process 234 images from 171 artists scored above the line to be selected.
Some Thoughts On Juried Exhibitions
Congratulations to all selected for The Fine Art of Photography juried exhibition; being selected encourages our passion, our creative interests, and our eagerness to advance our photography.
Landing below the line, short of being selected is disappointing; this happens to all of us. Remember, art is highly subjective and judges rate the entries from their current perspectives and preferences. Different judges, different times, yield different results. It is important that we know this, and remain passionate, creative, and excited about our photography.
