For more than half a century, Plymouth Center for the Arts has offered quality art exhibits and events to the citizens of Plymouth and the region in general. Once again, we are offering our annual signature fine arts competition, exhibition & arts festival.Located just steps from Plymouth Rock in the historic village district, our distinctive location and elegant galleries are the perfect settings for this iconic fine arts tradition. This is a national, open show; you need not be a member. All artists are invited to submit unique, imaginative, and creative works, in all media types, of any theme.
This is a National Exhibition. Entries chosen for the exhibit that need to be shipped will be informed of the full process at that time. The minimum information is that the artist is responsible for shipping cost both ways, plus a $35 handing fee. A full set of instructions will be available on-line on the date that the selection of artists is announced.

Entry fee: $15.00 per entry, non-refundable.

Exhibition Events: The Annual Juried Art Show will be celebrated with a number of special events as well as a live exhibition in our newly renovated galleries.

This is a juried show
Artists may submit as many pieces as they choose
First Prize and Best in Show awardees will receive one complimentary admission to the Opening Night Gala
“Artists selected for the exhibit may purchase up to two discounted Gala tickets for $25 each at the artwork drop off. This offer is only available during the drop off periods on Saturday Sept. 11th and Sunday 12th, from 4 – 7pm”
It is at the judges’ discretion to award/not award prizes
Award winners will be notified prior to Opening Night
Winners are strongly encouraged to receive their award in person at the Gala
Entrants must be 16 years of age or older.
Original work not previously exhibited in the Annual Juried Art Show may be entered.
Work copied or done under the guidance of an instructor is not eligible.
Size of framed artwork may not exceed 48” in any direction.
2D artwork should be wired and professionally presented.
Matting and framing should be of superior quality and complement the artwork.
Worn, scarred or damaged frames are not acceptable.
Wires must be taut, strong enough to hold the piece, securely attached to the frame, and installed 1/3 of the distance from the top of the piece (no alligator clips.)
Photographs printed on glass, metal, or other material shall have compatible rails or wires for hanging.
All drawings, original prints, watercolors, and photography must be under glass or Plexiglas
Clamped or cracked glass is not acceptable.
A limited number of pedestals are available. Sculptors and 3D artists may provide their own pedestals.
Work not ready for hanging or display will not be accepted.
Selected artwork must remain on display at Plymouth Center for the Arts for the duration of the show.
Artists’ names and titles of “Selected” artwork for our Annual Show will be published on our website no later than
5pm Tuesday, Aug 24th
Award winners will be announced to the public at the Gala, September 18th. Award winning artists will be notified by phone, prior to the Gala.
Artwork Drop Off Days & Time
Saturday, September 11th and Sunday September 12th, from 4 – 7pm both days
We encourage artists to submit works for sale.
Works must be either priced or marked, “Not for Sale.”
Prices include frames.
A 30% commission will be retained on all Guild Member sales, 40% commission for non-members.
Liability: The Plymouth Guild, dba Plymouth Center for the Arts, will not be responsible for fire, theft, loss or damage of any nature. Work is submitted at the artist’s risk. The exhibition is not covered by insurance.
