Portraits with Pencil - Zoom
NO CLASS NOVEMBER 27 - THE DAY AFTER THANKSGIVING
Would you like to learn how to draw faces that are full of expression? Do you need help getting your portraits to look like the people you are trying to portray? Practice makes perfect! The more you work on training your eyes to see who is in front of you, and your hands to draw what your eyes are seeing, the more success you will have as a portrait artist!
Whether you've taken this class before or not - you will have much to gain from our time together.
This class will be on Zoom. It's quite easy to create small format art while on a Zoom call. Our pieces can be 8x10 or 11 x 14. You will need a good sketchbook, and a full set of drawing pencils (HB, B, 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B) and a kneaded eraser.
Terry will bring a face each week: young, old, from different ethnic groups, full of expression. On our final class you can bring a face you'd like to draw - maybe someone you love!
Let's use this unusual time in our lives to learn new skills and create beautiful art! Welcome to the Zoom Art Room!
Each week Terry will email the link to the class. There will be a waiting room - for those who like to come early. Terry expects to "arrive" 15 minutes before the class.
