Students will be taught basic printmaking skills  such as trace drawing, hand transfer and gelatin printing. Creating colors while preparing inks and awareness of texture will be emphasized. After learning these skills, the printing press will be used to create monoprints from inked Plexiglas plates onto paper.  A demonstration will be followed by individual attention and group critique.
