Drawing PLYMOUTH Historical Art
FOR AGES 16 - 100
The Mayflower, the Pilgrims, the Wampanoags, historical Plymouth houses, historical moments and artifacts are just some of the themes for your art during these classes.
Terry has years of experience creating artwork that requires research for the news, toy and publishing industries.
This will be the first session of several where Terry will be aiding students in creating historically accurate drawings and paintings
as we all prepare to celebrate Plymouth in the year 2020. The class will include field trips to Plimoth Plantation,
the Pilgrim Museum in Plymouth and more spots, weather permitting. She will guide you in searching for reference online,
gaining permission for use and creating your own reference with your own photos.
The final products can be pencil drawings, pen and ink illustrations or paintings...whatever medium you feel comfortable using.
For members of the Plymouth Center for the Arts - your final pieces can be hung in member shows throughout the year.

Supplies: The students will bring: a sketchbook, pencils, a camera or cell phone with a camera, canvas if you desire and your curiosity.
Terry will supply markers, watercolor and multi-media paper, acrylics and watercolor and paint brushes (for those who don't have their own paints).
